CARE Packet
CARE Packet refer to packages sent to West Germany in 1945 by the Cooperative for American Remittances to Europe (CARE) containing preserved meat and fat, canned and dried fruits, honey, chocolate, sugar, powdered egg and milk, as well as coffee.
CARE is mainly a privately funded food organization seeking to relieve suffering and hunger in Europe which was created
created in 1945, to rush lifesaving CARE packages to survivors of World War II. Today, CARE is one of the world's largest private humanitarian organizations.
