Abenkwan refers to palm nut/oil soup/stew which is made, prepared or cooked from the pulp of pounded boiled palm fruits cooked with fresh or smoked fish or meat, varieties of vegetable like,okra, tomatoes, eggplant, onions and condiments or spices into a thick broth.
Abenkwan is a traditional Ghanain soup that is very rich in minerals, vitamin A, and natural oils which is traditionally and mostly served with a Fufu, but can also be served with number of side dishes, such as Banku, Kenkey, rice, cooked plantains, yams, etc.
abgeschmälzt Maultaschen refers to a German dish made of Maultaschen cooked with chopped onion fried in butter. abgeschmälzt Maultaschen is another specialty of the region of Bavaria, paticularly Swabia.
Maultaschen refers to a kind of ravioli which is usually served in clear broth, however, in abgeschmälzt Maultaschen, the Maultaschen is pan-fried with chopped onions in butter and not served with the usual broth.
