Makedoniki Salata (Macedonian Salad) refers to a vegetable salad from Macedonia which consists of thinly sliced red and white cabbage, grated carrots, peppers, celery, spiced with parsley. Olive oil and juice of lemon serves as a dressing for this salad with salt to taste.

Marathi refers to one of the many languages of India. Marathi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the Marathi people of western and central India and the the official language of the state of Maharashtra. Beside Marathi, other languages spoken in India are: Hindi, Assamee, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Sinhala, Tamil and Telugu.

Midori Choochin is the Japanese term which literally means "green lampions" which are hung on the eateries or restaurants which only serve healthy food using organic and naturally-grown vegetables, chicken or natural fish from the area only. This is the owners contribution to the environment and the conservation of Japan's and the world's natural resources. Owners of Midori Choochin are called Tencho in Kanto and Taishoo in the city of Osaka.

Malaichop refers to a Bengali sweet that is known for its pastry like taste. Malaichop is a round, golden, syrupy sandwich of ground pistachios and cardamom filled with cream and coated in silver leaf. Malaichop's delicious taste comes from the heavy coating of Khoya-cream base. Khoya is a milk-based thick paste.

Mushabbak refers to a lacework-shaped pastry covered in honey which is one of Jordan's traditional desserts.

Mengdah or Mengdah Nah refers to a giant water bug used to belong to the Hemiptera family but is now included in the Heteroptera family and classified as Lethocerus Indicus. Mengdah is one of the edible insects eaten in Thailand and enjoyed basically by the Thai people and also being tried by other tourists who visit the country. Thai people like eating bugs and in Thailand there are many species of edible insects. Eating bugs may be unsavory to some people, but these edible bugs are said to be very healthy and is a good source of protein. I have been to Thailand and exotic foods are sold everywhere. I am not a picky eater, but edible insects is one of the foods which I will never try. My brothers who also visited Thailand, however enjoyed these edible insects and told me that I should try to eat them if I want to visit Thailand again. I love Thailand, especially Bangkok. It is one of the cities where I want to live if given a chance, I love the character of the city, the foods on the streets, its cuisne and food and its religion.
