Leitao Assado / Leitão Assado refers to Portugal's roast suckling pig that is flavored with various herbs. Leitao Assado is a speciality of Central Portugal.
Lievre is the French word for "Hare ". The most tender Hare (Lievre) are those which are less than one year old which is good for roasting. While older Hares are made into civets (Civet de Lièvre or jugged hare)
