Mais con Yelo (corn with ice) refers to a Filipino snack or dessert made of sweet corn which is removed from the cob, usually canned corn mixed with milk, sugar and crushed ice; a milky drink with corn.

Minatamis is the Filipino culinary term that refers to foods (fruits, nuts, etc) which are candied or sweetened, as in Minatamis na Saging (sweetened banana), Minatamis na Kamote (sweetened sweet potato), Minatamis na Langka (sweetened jackfruit) etc.

Malapot is the Filipino word for viscous or thick, as in Malapot na Sarsa (thick sauce ) like the Sarsa ng Lechon (sauce of grilled whole pig) and Gatas na Malapot which is used in the Philippines to refer to "condensed milk"

Maksym refers to Kyrgyzstan drink made from wheat. Shoro is the most popular and well-known propriety brand of Maksym.

Marillenlikör is the German term for apricot liquor which is used by the Austrians for their famous coffee called Biedermeier.
