Makande refers to an African corn and bean stew.

Maharagwe refers to one of the popular dishes from Kenya which is a spicy red bean preparation made with coconut milk. Maharagwe is translated as "beans" in some Afican countries and the term Maharagwe in Kenya is being used for a course consisting of a mixture of beans and maize.

Micha Trong Kroeuny refers to Vietnamese dish made of strips of plaice fillets dusted with rice flour and briefly browned in fat then lightly cooked in a spicy sauce of garlic, scallions, chilies, and Nuoc Mam.

Mien Ga refers to a Vietnamese light, flavorful, fat-free chicken broth that is served with cellophane noodles and thinly slivered scallions to garnish.

Mut refers to a Vietnamese sticky sweet candy that can be prepared from fruits, vegetables, or seeds cooked in syrup until translucent.

Malva pudding refers to South African traditional dessert, consisting of a baked pudding over which a syrup or sauce is poured as it is removed from the oven.
