Kozhuva Achar is the Malayalam term for Pickled anchovies. It is made from fresh, cleaned and deboned Kozhuva (Anchovies) cooked/fried in coconut oil with lots of spices, such as mustard seeds (Kadugu/Kaduku), fenugeek, chili, onions and many more and of course Curry leaves. Kozhuva is also known in India as Netholi, Chooda and Podimeen.
