Lepyoshka refers to Uzbekistan's flat bread, or "non", "that is usually baked in tandoor ovens, and served with tea, not to mention at every meal. Lepyoshka is available is several varieties, some with onions or meat in the dough, while others are topped with Kalonji (nigella seeds) or sesame seeds.
Lepyoshka also serves as one of the staple foods of Kyrgyzstan. This Russian flat unleavened loaf is delicious and fresh and far more superior that the other varieties of white bread found in the supermarkets in the country.
