Spaghetti Western is not a food at all, but refers to a cheap western movie produced in Italy or Spain, typically having Italian actors, an American star, and a generous dose of violence. Sauce François I refers to a classic French white wine sauce finished with butter and garnished with diced tomatoes and mushroom, particularly buttom mushrooms or any mushroom of choice

Sambharam refers to the South Indian form of Lassi. Sambharam which is a favorite beverage of Kerala is made of curd, salt and water mixed with curry leaves and dry ginger. This is a cooling agent and reduces heat from the body. In Kerala, it is customary to serve a tall glass of cool Sambharam to entertain guests.

Sernik refers to a dessert from Poland - a cheesecake.

Scharf is the German word for "Spicy" (hot) term that is used to describe a food or a dish with plenty of spices, particularly spicy chilis. I love spicy foods like most of the Filipinos and while living in Germany, I learned that many Germans do not like very much foods which are spicy (scharf). My husband's family does not even like onions and garlic in their food, much more dishes with chilis like some Filipino foods (Laing taste good with chilis, Adobo with garlic).

Stargazy Pie refers to a deep-dish fish pie from Cornwall with a crispy crust covering a creamy concoction of freshly caught herring and vegetables. Herrings are cooked whole in a pie. with their heads looking skyward and tails in the middle.
