Basquaise refers to the food prepared in the style of Basque (France) which usually includes tomatoes and sweet or hot red peppers, examples are: Consommé Basquaise, Poulet Basquaise, and Gateau a la Basquaise.
Bolo de Rolo refers to Brazil's is a thin sponge cake rolled in to a log with a filling of Doce de Goiaba or guava marmalade . Bolo de Rolo is one of Brazil's typical desserts and special cakes. It is also one of the popular Brazilian exported products.

Brigadeiro refers to a popular delicious sweet/dessert which can be considered as Brazil's national dessert. Brigadeiros look like balls of chocolate similar to truffles. A thick mix of condensed milk, butter and chocolate powder is rolled into small balls and cooked. Once cooled, they are covered in chocolate sprinkles like a truffle. They are named after a Brigadier that helped stop a communist coup in Rio. Brigadeiros are usually served in every Brazilian birthday party and special occassions.

Burong Isda refers to a Filipino food made of fish fermented with rice

Buro is the Filipino word for "pickled" or "fermented". Just putting the food which is to be pickled/fermented in water with salt, as in Burong Talangka (Pickled/Fermented small river crabs), Burong Kamias (Pickled/Fermented Kamias) and Burong Mustasa (Pickled/Fermented Mustard Leaves). In Ilocos, Karmay is also prepared this way, they just put fresh Karmay in water with salt and it is ready to eat some hours. The last time I ate Burong Karmay was in Vigan Ilocos Sur, nar their beautiful church, there was a small wooden cart selling them from a big glass jar with salted water and filled with green Karmay.

Büryan Kebab refers to Turkish pit roasted lamb. In making Büryan, a whole lamb is cooked in a stone pit for several hours until the lamb is already cotton soft and melts in the mouth Büryan Kebab is often serve with Pide, a special stone oven breads.
