Khaddu refers to squash or pumpkin used in Caribbean cuisine. Usually, traditional pumpkins from North America and Europe are orange in color. Khaddu is of different variety, it usually range from green to yellow skin, with yellow to orange flesh.

Kelewele refers to one of Ghana's food and a popular type of street food made of spicy and sweetish deep-fried plantains (ripe cooking bananas). It is Ghana's version of "french fries" , although Ghana's version is made of plantains sliced into long strips , tossed with salt, chili and ginger then deep-fried. In Ghana, Kelewele is served as an evening or an after dinner treat.

Personal Note: We have so many varieties of bananas in the Philippines. We usually prepare them as sweet treat or dessert, but never as a savory treat. I will definitely try to cook this when i return to my country.

Ketupat Sotong refers to a Malaysian dish made of glutinous or sticky rice soaked in coconut milk then stuffed into squids. Ketupat Sotong features squids stuffed with sticky/glutinous rice cooked in thick coconut milk. squids of which the stuffing is made of glutinous/sticky rice soaked in coconut milk.

Sotong is Malay for squids. Ketupat is a Malay rice cake.

Khao Soi refers to a Thai curry broth with egg noodles and chicken pork or beef. Khao Soi is popular, particularly from the Northern Region of Thailand and influenced by the neighboring country Myanmar.

Kaeng Hang Lay refers to Thailand's pork curry seasoned with ginger, tamarind and turmeric. Kaeng Hang Lay is a popular dish from the Northern Region of Thailand.

Kaeng Yuak refers to Thailand's curry made with banana palm hearts. It is one of the most popular curries from the North of the country.
