Birsalmasajt is the Hungarian word for "quincy jelly" which are made in the country in firm blocks hence the word also literally means "quince cheese " as they are looking like blocks of cheese which can be sliced. Birsalmasajt is only widely available in Hungary during the months following the quince season. Birsalmasajt is also known as Birsalma Sajt and is pronounced as "beersh-alma-shoyt".

Bodag refers to Hungarian Gypsy Bread. Gypsy Bread is also known in Hungary as Cigánykenyér which is a simple bread popular among the Hungarians of Roma/Gypsy origin. Bodag or Cigánykenyér is made only of flour, baking powder/soda, salt and water. To make this bread: Knead the flour, baking powder or baking soda, salt and water into a medium hard dough. Flatten it so it is two to three centimeters thick. Bake in a hot oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Bodag or Cigánykenyér can be served and eaten with various Hungarian dishes, such as Zsír, Lecsó or Pörkölt.

Borsmenta is the Hungarian word for "Peppermint" which is used as spice for fruit salads, for stuffings, as an ingredient for drinks and liquors. Borsmenta is commonly used in the country, however in making tea. Borsmenta is pronounced "borsh-menta".

Burgonya is the Hungarian word for "Potato". Burgonya is also known as Krumpli. Burgonya is pronounced "boor-gon-yu".

Bistella also known as Pastilla refers to a Moroccan pie made with chicken wrapped in phyllo dough. When finished cooking, the Bastilla is dusted with sugar and cinnamon.

Butter cutter refers to a garnishing tool that shoud be used to make curls and grooves and marble-size balls out of butter
