Frizzes refers to dry pork or Salami flavored with anise and garlic.

Frog's legs refers to the hind legs of a frog which are fried or stewed. It is said to be tasting like chicken. Personal Note: My eldest sister loves to eat battered deep-fried frogs' legs. Her family has a favorite Chinese restaurants which prepare this dish. I always say I eat all kinds of food, but I also think I never do because I will not even try to eat frogs, brain of pork, crocodile, snake and other exotic foods.

Fromage is French for "cheese ". There are so many different types of cheeses in France and I wish I can list and describe them all here for you. My favorite French cheese is Camembert.

Fromage blanc refers to a low-fat, smooth cows' milk cheese which is usually served with fruit sauce as a dessert.

Fruhlingsuppe is a German soup with vegetables in a meat-based stock.

Fruhstuck is the German word for "breakfast".
