Tinumok refers to a dish from the Philippines, particularly from the Bicol Region made from Gabi known in English as Taro leaves filled with mixture of shrimps, flaked fish or fish, young coconut ,onion, shrimp paste and boiled in coconut milk spiced with ginger, chili and lemon grass.

Tinumok can also be made using meat (pork or chicken) rolled in Taro (Gabi in Filipino) leaves and cooked with coconut milk. This dish is almost similar to Laing and Pinangat which is also made from the leaves of Taro.

Tinumok, like any other Philippines dishes has many variations, considering that the Philippines is made up of many Regions and each Region has its own version of the dish. Tinumok is called Tinuktok and Pinangat in some Visayan Regions, like Iloilo.

Tørrfisk refers to one of the typical dishes from Norway which is actually a dry cod fish. Like other famous fish dishes (Gravlaks, Lutefisk or Rakfisk) Torrfisk is said to be not so popular in Norway, but are exported in huge amounts in other countries like Brazil, Spain and Portugal

Tinap-Anan refers to smoked and moderately grilled fish delicately wrapped with banana leaves from Cebu Province, Philippines.

Tacacá refers to one of the popular soup from Northern Brazil . Tacacá soup is made from Jambú, a type of paracress, a Brazilian herb; dried shrimp; yellow pepper; and Tucupi, a broth made of Manioc root.

Twinkies refer to a popular snack cake in the United States filled with cream fillings. Twinkies were introduced in 1933 by The Continental Baking Company in Indianapolis and was originally an idea of one of the companies bakers' named James A. Dewar.

Twinkies are spongy yellow cake 4 inches long and an inch and a half wide. It is filled with a creamy white filling that tastes more or less like vanilla cake frosting. The cake part of a Twinkie is moist and light, and the overall flavor is not too strong. The cake has a distinct buttery flavor. There are three (3) small "globs" of filling spaced evenly down the length of the cake. The filling has a very smooth, slippery texture and a sugary flavor.

Twinkies original recipe, concocted in 1930, included basic ingredients, like eggs, milk and butter. The need for a longer shelf life led to the introduction of chemical ingredients.

It is said that Twinkies can survive nuclear attacks, hence in the 1960's when there were huge fears of a nuclear attack and many bomb shelters were built, Twinkees were one of the most popular items to buy and store because it was said that they "stay fresh forever".

Twinkies becomes one of the American icons when it comes to cake snacks that even ex US President Clinton put one in a time capsule.

Taffy refers to a chewy sweet that is made by combining brown sugar or molasses and butter which are then boiled and then pulled so that it becomes glossy. Filipino version or name is Tira-Tira. In US and Canada. It is a less common term for Toffee.
