Siopao refers to a Filipino snack of steamed meat buns with meatballs or meat inside the bun, sometimes with added sliced Itlog na Maalat (salted red egg).
A regular Siopao is filled with meat and Bola Bola Siopao is with meatballs filling. To recognized which is which, the Bola Bola Siopao is always with a red dot on top of the bun. Quite interesting indeed.
