Ajaat refers to Thailand's light dip which is made with crunchy cucumber slices, thinly sliced red chillis and onions in a syrup of sugar, salt and vinegar. Ajaat is eaten with some kinds of curries to cool down the pungent richness, and always accompanies Thai satay.

Ahan Thale is the Thai word for "seafood", and Thailand has many of them. Ahan Thale is also spelled as A Haan Ta Lee, Ahan Taley, Ahan Thelah.

Alcachofas Salteadas is a Spanish of sauteed artichokes or artichokes hearts. It is made by with artichokes sauteed in onions, white wine and bacon and flavored with thyme, laurel, garlic and salt to taste.

Alheira refers to a Portuguese sausage made with different kinds of meats other than pork, usually veal, duck, chicken or rabbit, and bread.

abgeschmälzt Maultaschen refers to a German dish made of Maultaschen cooked with chopped onion fried in butter. abgeschmälzt Maultaschen is another specialty of the region of Bavaria, paticularly Swabia. Maultaschen refers to a kind of ravioli which is usually served in clear broth, however, in abgeschmälzt Maultaschen, the Maultaschen is pan-fried with chopped onions in butter and not served with the usual broth.

Arroz de Marisco refers to one of the most delicious dishes in Portugal. Arroz de Marisco is a rice stew with all the kind of shellfish available in daily markets, like shrimp, mussel, cockle and spider-crab, onions, tomatoes, a little bit of maleguetta pepper and lots of coriander.
